Sweet Pea 'Turquoise'

Unusual and highly fragrant variety of sweet pea which has us on our knees! Early summer flowers emerge pale lavender, maturing to lagoon-blue. The soft turquoise colouring is really something special, as is their full sweet pea scent. The blooms are dainty and elegant - more so than popular cut flower varieties like 'Jilly' or 'Mollie Rilstone'. Good stem length, particularly when grow undercover.

Originally raised by Keith Hammett and introduced by esteemed sweet pea grower and breeder Roger Parsons.

Sow: Late Oct-Nov for overwintering seedlings or Valentines day to end of March. Resist sowing in the depths of winter.
Plant: 20cm apart
Harvest: When uppermost 2 buds are still closed.
Vase: Expect vase life of 4-5 days.
